Welcome to King Park American Miniature Horses (established 2000), is located 28kms east of Melbourne, Australia.

King Park is owned by Samantha Dummett whose passion lies in training and showing the horses in halter and performance (6-bar, jumper, hunter, fault n out, trail). We have imported many American Miniature Horses over the past 5 years and have had much success in the ring at both State and National level. We are now concentrating on starting a new breeding program with the American Shetland and American / Australian bred Small Horse. Sizes will range from 32" to 38" at the last hair of mane. Horses will be registered MHAA and IMHR.

Home to National Champion Halter and Performance Miniature Horses

King Park Miniature Horses was founded by Samantha Dummett in 2002 and is located 28kms east of Melbourne in Australia.

King Park originally specialised in imported miniature horses from America. After discovering the American Shetland, we realised we had finally found the exact type we had been looking for. As a result, we have had to begin our breeding program from scratch. We will now concentrate on the American Shetland and Small Horse. Our first American Shetland import, the first for Australia, is the phenomenal SMHC's Ringmaster. We are in the process of importing a 100% American Shetland mare. We will be the only breeder in Australasia to breed 100% American Shetland foals with American AMHR and ASPC papers. The resulting foals should mature 36-38" and will be eligible for MHAA and IMHR registration.
